The Australian Bureau of Statistics will release the year-over-year Consumer Price Index numbers, which measure inflation for Australian citizens.

Traders will watch this announcement to understand how inflation is doing in Australia, which has a massive influence on what the RBA may do with monetary policy.

Preliminary GDP q/q, Unemployment Claims (USA)
The Bureau of Economic Analysis will release the Preliminary Gross Domestic Product figures, which measure the growth of the US economy. Also, the weekly Unemployment Claims report comes out simultaneously.

Traders always pay attention to the GDP numbers, as they can show whether the Federal Reserve will have to act to support the economy. The weekly Unemployment Claims figures also give traders an idea of how the US economy is performing.

Core PCE Price Index m/m (USA)
The Bureau of Economic Analysis will release the Core PCE Price Index, a measure of the inflation felt by the United States population.

Traders pay very close attention to this number, as the Federal Reserve believes it is one of the most preferred ways to measure true inflation in America.
