Asia-Pacific stocks are on a roll, but will it last?

MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan gained 10% since November and added an additional 0.3% on Thursday to its highest since August.
The rally was propelled by bets that the Fed will cut rates as early as March.
But with economic data coming out of the U.S. today, including Retail and Wholesale Inventories, a correction could take place. That’s because a higher-than-expected reading could compel the Fed to change course.
