The Bureau of Labor Statistics in the United States will release Consumer Price Index numbers, showing a measure of inflation in a basket of consumer goods.
Traders will be paying close attention to the reading to determine whether or not inflation in the United States will continue to rise.

The Bank of England releases its interest rate announcement and monetary policy statement. This is followed by a press conference that is widely followed.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics will release a couple of Producer Price Index numbers, showing inflationary pressures, or the lack thereof in the production economy.
Traders continue to pay attention to inflation in the United States, so it will be important to see whether or not producers are starting to get a bit of a break. This could greatly influence where the Federal Reserve sees the economy going and, therefore, interest rates in America.
